"How do mutuals know they are operating in the interests of the membership?"

I was delighted to speak at an Institute of Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) event, "Workshop for Chief Actuaries and Senior Life Actuaries", on 5 October 2016 in London.

My talk reviewed the issues around the governance of mutuals, how they can monitor whether they are acting in their members' interests, and what "good governance" looks like in the sector.

For your interest, here are my slides.  If you would like more information then please do get in touch.
