COVID-19 update from our CEO

We are in unprecedented times and I wanted to write to you to reassure you that as part of our business continuity planning we are committed to providing the same service as we would be able to do under normal circumstances.

As you know our home working model is well established so there are no fundamental changes in working environment or methods. Our model is built up on technology such as Microsoft Teams and video conferencing is second nature. We also restricted travel two weeks ago and cancelled all travel from last week to ensure that OAC staff were isolated from each other to reduce key function risks. This means that we are ideally placed to maintain service levels and support you, if required, as you also implement your own continuity plans.

We are nothing without our employees and they are vital to support you. We have introduced several measures such as even more flexible working, reduced working hours, mental health and community initiatives and other support packages to ensure that our employees are able to manage their own personal situations to allow them to work effectively over a prolonged period. These measures are under constant review and more will be added as necessary. We would appreciate your support in this by requesting meetings are virtual and minimising risk to our key people.

We are all in uncharted waters, and the future is unpredictable, and with all of our experiences and training we are often left with one option - to do what is right for all of our stakeholders. This is our approach and our management welcome the opportunity to work with you openly and collaboratively to ensure that together we find the right solutions. Please don't hesitate to ask us for any assistance.
