Staff fundraising for charity 2012: Sarsen Trail

SUCCESS: Our walkers successfully completed their 15-mile challenge on 6 May 2012 and had a thoroughly enjoyable day. The weather was ideal for the walk (dry and mild) especially when considering the recent trend of persistent rain. We are delighted to have raised over £2,400 for Macmillan, as well as supporting the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust for organising the event. The total amount raised includes a donation matching scheme from OAC. Thank you to everyone for their support.

A group made up of OAC staff, friends and family, will be taking part in the Sarsen Trail (organised by Wiltshire Wildlife Trust) on
6 May 2012. This group will need to complete a challenging 15-mile walk, which will take them across Salisbury Plain from Redhorn to Stonehenge. The walk is expected to take around 5 hours.

We are really looking forward to this challenge and to having some fun whilst raising as much money as possible for Macmillan.

Macmillan Cancer Support offers an invaluable range of support services to improve the lives of people affected by cancer. One in three of us will get cancer. Everyone is affected by cancer.
